Hoshina Utau
The moment had come. It was my turn. The challenge had begun. Amu, I will defeat you. I will win Ikuto's love. Putting on my black and white diamond button cap, a tank top, ripped up jeans and sun glasses in about thirty seven seconds, I headed out to the stage.
"Is everyone having fun?!" I yelled enthusiastically, in the microphone.
Everyone screamed.
Smiling, I said "That's good. This
song, I dedicated to my fans. Because they supported me for so long and I felt so grateful I decided, hey why not? I'll write a song for them! Everyone, here's Black Diamond!"

As the extent of the strong volume can’t be shaken off

Everyone was cheering and hooting.
I saw Amu in a corner with Ikuto, she stared at me with shock and awe, her eyes watering. Her whole face was screaming 'Utau's winning!' I smirked while singing.
It was to be expected.
I was Hoshina Utau after all.
"With trembling hands, offering a prayer

Tears started falling down Amu's cheeks. I saw Ikuto reach out and take her hand. Abruptly, at his touch, her tears stopped. He smiled and said something to her that caused her to smile halfway.
She used the sleeves of her dress to wipe away the tears. Rage filled me. Ikuto was never that considerate towards me. No, Utau.
Calm down. Concentrate on singing, and place your focus on the audience not Amu and Ikuto. I searched the audience for Ami. Of course, she was in the front of everyone, cheering, squealing and crying "Utau-chan!" I focused myself on her and no one else.
"What do you want? What do you seek?

The song came to an end and everyone in the gym cheered louder than before. I smiled towards the audience. "Did you like that?!" I cried.
More screaming.
"Well, there's more to come," I said winking running backstage to change into another outfit, as instrumental version of
Black Diamond turned on.
Tsukiyomi Ikuto
Utau had rocked it. She had even made Amu cry because she knew she would win. I tried cheering her up. It worked. She had currently ran backstage to change. The crowd cheered, screamed, demanding for Utau.
"That. . . . that was a good first performance. . . ." Amu spoke for the first time since the concert started.
"Yes, it was. You can't deny it. But you'll be even better," I assured her.
Amu smiled. "Thanks, Ikuto."
"Whatever, you need and want, I'll always be there to give it to you," I said seriously.
She scowled. "Think about yourself for once Ikuto. Not always me."
However, she had no idea
how much I loved her.
Suddenly, the yellow and black lights of the stage turned to dark blue and white. Everyone went quiet. Utau came in a beautiful dress, decorated with bows and butterflies with Eru right behind her. The moment the crowd saw her, they screamed. (Imagine the dress she wears on the cover of the Meikyuu Butterfly single. That's the one.)
An ebony grand piano was on the stage and Utau walked towards it. Sitting down on the bench, she put her fingers on the keys and spoke into the mic.
"This song," she murmured softly and the crowd erupted "I dedicated to someone important to me. That I love. I know you're out there. I asking you to listen to the lyrics. Of this song. This song is called Blue Moon."
Instantly, angel wings appeared on her back and she pressed the piano keys and sang.

Utau sounded breathtaking when she sang. Clearly, character changing with Eru was affective. She sounded like no one else.
"A second light to a second grain of sand, don’t you think?
Don’t even forget a grain
The supplemention stopped when the moon disappeared
Defenseless in backing up
The sweeten deep scars remain
The proof cuts have held
Why do you have a fleeting Blue Moon

The crowd was breath taken by her voice, all of them were quiet in awe. I could even feel Amu's awe. Not contempt or sadness. No negative feelings. Just awe.
"I think when you look up at the Blue Moon
My time has come to a stop
The wailing darkness of the Blue Moon doesn’t end
Swallowing up in depth
But still, I love it
The sky will also be torn someday

As soon as she uttered the last word, everyone bursts into screams.
She silently slipped offstage, and instrumental Blue Moon started playing.
Hinamori Amu
I sensed a horror and crisis to come. A wave of panic knotted in my stomach. Utau was going to win.
"No she isn't, Amu-chan~"
Dia whispered in my ear.
"Dia. . . ." I turned to look at her with a surprised look.
"Eru might have gentle songs, but no one else other than me and you have heard yourself sing during character change."
"You're right," I nodded.
Then the lights turned green and purple. Meikyuu Butterfly was going to start.
Utau stepped out on stage with the same black dress she always
wore during Meikyuu Butterfly.
"Now, I have a problem remembering. . . ." Utau began "What's your favorite song?"
"Meikyuu Butterfly!" the crowd cried.
"I can't hear you," Utau said playfully.
"Meikyuu Butterfly!" they screamed.
She smiled. "Alright, I'll sing it, for you then."
Instantly the organ for the song began playing. The song had begun. Iru was right behind her. They weren't going to character change were they?
"Open your shiny eyes in the silent night
The wonderous night swooped down
filled with the sound of footsteps
from a stealthy, desirous black cat's paws.
The floating sillouette in the moonlight
said 'Let's go this way' with a beckoning smile
A shadow of desire covered the squirming city
as the wandering angel descended.
The shards of love in the precious thoughts I cradled in my arms
weren't of our destination"
Of course, the devil wings were visible on Utau's back. Everyone loved it. The song was unique each time played but yet the same old favorite too.
"When the time comes when you're also sleeping somewhere,

Surprisingly, no one's eggs were drawn. I could see Ami, singing and twirling in front of the crowd.
"The face reflected in the mirror was

The lost words were magically put on my lips

I gasped. Utau was amazing. And she only character changed with Iru to sing. It was amazing no 'X' eggs appeared.
"I continue to search for my own story

The song was finished. Utau's song was finished. The devil wings her back disappeared. Iru snickered and Eru appeared at her side giggling. It was my turn now. I knew once I stepped onstage, I would lose in an instant. At least that's what I thought until I heard a huge crash and a familiar chant.
"Muri, muri, muri,"
