Chapter 12 - The 'X' Attack
Hinamori Amu
"Muri, muri, muri,"
I ran out of the gym, at full speed, ignoring the cries of my friends.
A huge shadow towered over me.
"Amu, what the hell is wro-" Ikuto stopped in mid-speech, when he saw what I saw.
"Holy mother of god," he cursed.
"You think?" I asked him, my voice trembling.
"Amu," Ikuto began.
"Screw the protecting me crap, Ikuto. I'm cleansing this thing,"
I snapped.
"Amu? Ikuto? What's going on?" Utau asked alarmed.
She looked up, Iru and Eru following her. She stopped in her tracks.
"Amu-chan!"
"Amu-chi!"
"Amu!"
"Joker!"
"Hinamori-san!"
"Hinamori!"
My friends shut up when they saw what was in front of them. A huge 'X' eggs serpent thing, like the one we battled when Kairi was still the Jack's chair and there was a giant 'X' character like the one Utau and I battled as Seraphic Charm and Amulet Diamond.
"Nagihiko, go protect Ami!" I cried.
He nodded a serious expression on his face and went back in the gym.
"Amu-chan!" my four guardian characters cried.
"I can't believe this. I didn't think it would be so soon," Ikuto muttered to himself.
Utau grabbed his shoulders. "What Ikuto?"
"I was on the Easter building, a few days ago. I heard Dad. . . . talking. He wanted to launch an attack on Seiyo Academy. It didn't think it would be the Seiyo Ball, but still."
"Why didn't you tell us?" I demanded angrily.
"I didn't want to stress you and Utau out," he admitted, his sapphire eyes honest.
"Utau," I turned towards her "we're going to have to."
"Yeah, I know."
"Ran, Miki, Suu and Dia. This is going to be tough. I don't know when but I might have to transform with you guys unexpectedly so be on your guard at all times," I told them.
They nodded.
"What is that?" Kukai demanded.
"It's 'X' characters and 'X' eggs combined into one," Utau and I answered.
"Ok. . . ."
"Yoru!"
"Daichi!"
"Kiseki!"
"Musashi!"
"Iru!"
"Kusu Kusu!"
"Pepe-chan!"
"Ran!"
"My own Heart, Unlock!" we all cried in synchronization.
As Amulet Heart, I receive a pink themed cheerleader outfit, with pink leggings and sneakers. I also wear a pink sun visor and my hair is tied into a side ponytail. My 'X' hairclip becomes a heart hairclip.
"Character transformation: Black Lynx!"
"Character transformation: Sky Jack!"
"Character transformation: Platinum Royale!"
"Character transformation: Samurai Soul!"
"Character transformation: Lunatic Charm!"
"Character transformation: Clown Drop!"
"Character transformation: Dear Baby!"
"Character transformation: Amulet Heart!"
Ikuto with his cat claw took a few swipes at the 'X' serpent and it fell apart.
A few 'X' eggs who recovered
were running away.
"Kukai! Get those ones!" I yelled.
He gave me a thumbs up and grinned maliciously. "Leave it, to me."
"Juggling Party!" Rima screamed. "Tadase!"
"White Decoration!"
"Nightmare Lorelei!"
"Inazuma Blade!"
Utau and Kairi were attacking hoards of 'X' eggs they captured.
"Hey, Amu! Cleanse these!" Utau cried.
"Right!"
"Heart Rod!" There was dust coming out of the ends of my Heart Rod.
It trapped the 'X' eggs.
"Negative Heart! Lock on!" The pink light got brighter and brighter. "Open Heart!"
"Utau! Go help Kukai!" I shouted.
She inclined her head and flew off in the direction Kukai left.
"Hinamori-san!"
"Amu, a little help!"
Rima and Tadase were being cornered by thousands of 'X' eggs.
"Miki!"
"Right!"
"My own Heart, Unlock!"
This was getting into one heck of a battle.I received my big light-blue button cap with a spade-shaped clip on it, a light-blue waistcoat and a pair of dark-blue shorts. I also wear long gloves, white and blue stockings and a pair of brown woodcutter-styled boots. My hair is loosely hung by the sides of my face and also has streaks of purple in it, and the rest of it is hidden in my big button cap.
"Character transformation: Amulet Spade!"
"Colorful Canvas!" I cried as rainbow paint attacked the eggs. Then I cleansed them.
"Oi, Amu!" Utau called.
She and Kukai were having trouble dealing with 'X' eggs.
"My own Heart, Unlock!"
I wear a green balloon themed maid outfit. My hair color changes to brown and is tied into big ponytails on the side of my head.
The hairclip turns into a green three leaf clover hair clip.
"Leave it to Amulet Clover," I said winking.
"Took you long enough!" Utau grumbled.
"Remake Honey!"
"Utau! Amu! This one's too tough! We need your help!" Ikuto shouted. The rest of the others were fighting it.
"Let me try!" Yaya squealed. "Merry Merry!"
About only ten 'X' characters fell asleep.
"It's effective!" Dia cried. But when she saw Yaya sleeping- "It's TOO effective!"
"Amu, let's cleanse this thing," Utau told me.
"Yeah," I agreed.
"My own Heart, Unlock!"
Utau wears a typically angelic dress in a Sweet Lolita style, as Seraphic Charm. Just like Lunatic Charm, she has angel hair accessories and angel wings.
Me, as Amulet Diamond wears a futuristic, yellow and cream colored idol outfit, with pleats on the inside of the uniform and pigtails, with a white headband, with elegant pigtails. I have earphones and a microphone attached to the headband.
"Character transformation: Seraphic Charm!"
"Character transformation: Amulet Diamond!"
"Amu," Utau held out her hand.
I reached out and took it. I could feel the warmth of Eru and Utau's very heart, in her palm. "Utau," I replied, nodding.
"Amu, wait!" Ikuto interrupted us.
He held my wrist.
"What is it Ikuto?"
"If you cleanse this entire thing, if you win the singing competition, I'll give you something special tonight," he promised.
I smiled. "Oh, I'll cleanse this thing, alright," I vowed.
Relieved he smiled too, before letting go.
Utau and I leaped high. We charged straight at the giant 'X' character. I felt no trace of fear it my heart, as I soared through the air. No, because I was Amulet Diamond.
